With specially-commissioned images from local motorsport artist Peter Hearsey this 6 stamp issue features the once ubiquitous Model T in its many guises.

The Model T Ford Register of Great Britain is dedicated to providing its members with rallies, new and used spares supplies, technical advice, historical research and social events involving Model T Fords.

Our issue is timed to coincide with the 50th Anniversary Tour when the Isle of Man branch of the club will host the event.

A rare collection of Model T Ford vehicles were on display in the Villa Marina Gardens, Douglas on the 11th May.

While the vehicles were a magnificent display outside, Peter Hearsey’s original stamp artwork was displayed in the foyer of the Villa Marina as well as a selection of Model T Ford stamp products on sale.

Peter said: “It was a wonderful afternoon and we were inundated with visitors coming to see the artwork, which was terrific. We sold out of the Model T Ford stamp first day covers and presentation packs we had on sale and I also sold two original pieces of the Model T Ford artwork which I was delighted about, so all-in-all an excellent afternoon.”
