Following the success of the astronaut Alan Bean signed cover we are delighted to be able to make a small number of Apollo mission special covers available.

In limited editions of 750, these highly collectable foil-postmarked envelopes are signed by the intrepid men who have found their place in history.

It is still incredible to contemplate the achievements of the Apollo missions and each individual played his part.

The second in our series of signed astronaut covers. On 31st January 1971 Dr. Edgar Mitchell, then a U.S. Navy Captain, embarked on a journey through outer space of some 500,000 miles that resulted in his becoming the sixth man to walk on the moon.

That historic journey terminated safely nine days later on 9th February 1971 and was made in the company of two other men of valour, Admiral Alan Shepard and Colonel Stuart Roosa
