Mailroom Print Technician

Job Description
An exciting opportunity has become available at the Isle of Man Post Office. We are seeking to recruit an experienced Mailroom Print Technician on a limited term basis for 12 months at 35 hours per week. This role will undertake work from internal and external Business Solution Mailroom clients, producing a high quality standard of work using a variety of formats and designs packages, whilst achieving and delivering customer expectations.
The Role
Main Responsibilities:
- Primarily to assist with daily print production, working with internal and external clients from the consultation stage through to producing a high level quality of work in line with customer expectations.
- Return/dispose of client’s data, returning excess client consumables where necessary.
- Process auto download of print files, forwarding for envelopment by hand or machine or by hand envelopment by self.
- Finishing work using the creaser, folder, guillotine
- Daily stock allocation and management to maintain accurate levels
- Help maintain both ISO accreditations, 27001 and 9001
Key Skills
The Person
We are looking for somebody who:
- Has experience within a production environment
- Has strong attention to detail
- Has experience and knowledge of production software such as Adobe Suit and Microsoft Office
- Proven experience working to tight deadlines and dealing with priorities across multiple work streams
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Has the ability to work independently and within a team
- Is adaptable when working within a fast paced environment
