Job Description

The Mails Division at our Douglas Sorting Office are inviting applications from anyone interested in becoming a full-time post person on a 12 month limited term contract.

Full training will be offered to the successful candidate. 

The role will include (but are not limited to): 

• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Use of PDA to scan items accurately
• Collecting, sorting, preparing and delivering mail
• Lifting and transporting of mail items up to 30kgs each
• Driving an IOMPO vehicle

We are looking for someone who: 

• Has good communication skills
• The ability to work as part of a team
• Flexibility, self-motivation and shows initiative
• Good knowledge of postal products and services
• The ability to work quickly and accurately
• A Full manual driving licence (not on R Plates)
• A good performance record
