Posted Mail

We deliver mail to every address in the Isle of Man, five days a week, (with small parcels and priority items being delivered six days a week) all year round – no one else offers that level of distribution service to the Isle of Man and its community. All local mail posted is delivered island wide on the next working day after receipt, and our quality of service exceeds our 98% successful next day delivery target.

All mail posted to the UK is treated as first class mail and dispatched by a dedicated aircraft five days per week, connecting directly with Royal Mail's next day delivery network. Mail destined for the EU and ROW is then consolidated with Royal Mail's outgoing international mail for despatch to the destination country.

Customs Declarations

From Friday 1st January 2021, the requirement for accurate customs documentation for items containing goods sent to Rest of World addresses will also apply to European destinations and the Channel Islands. When mailing items containing goods to outside of the UK, you will need to accurately complete and sign a customs declaration. A CN22A/B should be used when sending items valued at less than £270, for items with a value higher than this a CN23 should be used.

Incoming Mail

Mail is received into the Island on our dedicated aircraft five days per week, and is usually the first plane to land at Ronaldsway airport each day! We then transport mail to Douglas Sorting Office, where our mail sorting machinery and staff typically handle over 50,000 items for delivery on the same day. Mail destined for delivery outside Douglas is transported to our satellite delivery offices in Ballasalla, Peel and Ramsey, where the final sorting for delivery takes place. Finally deliveries to your door take place between 9am and 2:30pm, Monday to Saturday.

To provide this service we have a network of over 100 vehicles and around 220 postmen and women working from 6am until 9pm, and longer during busy periods! This extensive network ensures that we get your mail to you as quickly as possible!
