Isle of Man Post Office announces its 2018 Postal Rates.
Isle of Man Post Office announces details of its 2018 postage prices which will come into effect on Tuesday 3rd April 2018.
The price of a standard letter to the UK and Isle of Man will increase to 52p. The price changes are part of the broader strategy that includes increasing revenues from commercial activities and implementing efficiencies to reduce costs and offset declining letter postage volumes (approximately 7% year on year decline), thus enabling the business to continue to provide self-funded timely mail delivery and post office services around the Island.
There are modest changes across all weight steps on the domestic large letter and packet prices to bring them more into line with competitor pricing tariffs, with some remaining static.
Ancillary services such as KeepSafe, Redirect, private boxes business and residential, single collection fees and Door to Door will all be subject to increases but will still represent excellent value for money for customers.
Isle of Man Post Office is pleased to continue to offer family and friends a free postage service to any British Forces Post Office address when sending standard letters and packets of up to 2kg.
