Post Office to host last eClub event of the year

Isle of Man Post Office will be hosting the forthcoming Christmas eClub event on December 6, as it continues to establish itself as the leading provider of direct mail services for the eGaming industry.

A Winter Wonderland will be the theme for the eClub at The Courthouse, the Island's vibrant eGaming networking group and will be an opportunity for professionals in the eGaming industry to meet as the year draws to an end. The forthcoming event is sponsored by Isle of Man Post Office who provides secure direct mail services to the gaming sector, based in the Isle of Man, UK and internationally.

Lisa Duckworth, Commercial Director of Isle of Man Post Office said:

"We are really looking forward to sponsoring our first ever eClub event next week. It will be an opportunity for us to build on current client relationships and to forge new ones. It will also be a chance to raise the profile of our secure direct mail service for the gaming industry in an informal manner. We have been delighted with the take up of our direct mailing services in the eGaming industry and are keen to promote ourselves further at what is always an excellent event."

Direct mail is hard to beat as an alternative to internet-based communications. IMS specialises in eGaming direct mail solutions – the perfect way to send out creative offline acquisition, retention and activation campaigns.

Lisa added:

"Ninety per cent of mail is read the same day it arrives, while 68% is read immediately – no other medium enjoys that kind of response from recipients. Isle of Man Post Office clients have reported a 0.5% response rate through email marketing, increased by 17% from a direct mail campaign. The response rate increases if the recipient receives something they interact with for example scratch cards, CDs or a scratch panel on the letter itself."

The Winter Wonderland event will be full of Christmas cheer and will be the last eClub party of the year.

"We hope to see as many eClub members there as possible, as not only will it be a networking opportunity but a night of fun in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Guests should also bring along their business cards to be in with a chance of winning a fantastic prize" Lisa commented.
