  • Isle of Man Post Office is delighted to release this limited edition special sheetlet celebrating landmark events and some of the many achievements of H R H Prince Philip.

2021 also marks the 65th anniversary of the Duke of Edinburgh scheme, started by Prince Philip in 1956. The Isle of Man is extremely proud of all of our young people who have enrolled since 1958 and achieved their own personal goal, it gives the Isle of Man Post Office great pleasure to support the ongoing success of the Scheme through the sale of this collection.

Created by local designer Emma Cooke of EJC Design, this sheetlet presents the Duke of Edinburgh at various stages throughout his life including his military background and his marriage to HM Queen Elizabeth II.  The featured stamps are taken from previously released Isle of Man stamp issues, along with labels from our image archive.

This beautifully presented sheetlet makes for the perfect commemorative to celebrate the achievements of HRH Prince Philip, and is presented inside a folder featuring issue text from writer Austin Mutti-Mewse and Alison Barnes, Co-ordinator of the Isle of Man Duke of Edinburgh scheme.
