  • The 59 Club is a London based motorcycle club with members all over the world. It started as a Church of England youth club in Hackney Wick by Father John Oates, who, after a visiting the 2i's coffee bar on Old Compton Street, contacted up and coming rock and roll singer Cliff Richard to perform on the opening night on 2 April 1959. Cut to 2019, and in its 60th year, the Club is proud that it is still operating and has positively influenced British youth and motorcycling culture beyond measure.
