Isle of Man Post Office has submitted a planning application to redevelop the site of the Post Office in Regent Street, Douglas into a modern retail outlet.
The new Douglas Post Office, housed within the former Carnival site in Strand Street, Douglas, will be open for business for the first time next Monday (15th August).

Over the last year, twelve incidents of post people being attacked and physically injured by dogs on the Isle of Man have been reported; however, many more "near misses" and stand offs with dogs are often never formally accounted for.
