Chief Minister Howard Quayle MHK presented with framed set of stamps by Isle of Man Post Office Chairman Julie Edge MHK at recent visit

A presentation on the business's strategic direction, its current challenges and the various projects currently underway was given before they viewed first-hand the business's operation and undertook tours of IMS, Mails and the Customer Service Centre. Wednesday was also the launch of Isle of Man Post Office's very first collection of variable value self-adhesive definitive stamps featuring the Three Legs of Man emblem (known as the Triskelion). These new stamps are available from the Pay & Post kiosk at Postal Headquarters which the Chief Minister was only too happy to witness see be produced direct from the machine. He also saw a demonstration of the welfare payments system 'MiCard' and learnt about its ability to be used for other Government services. Chairman Julie Edge MHK presented him with a framed set of stamps featuring the new Triskelion pictorial label stamps and the newly issued 150th Anniversary of the First Open House of Keys Elections stamp issue as a memento of his visit.
