Isle of Man Post Office vehicle licensing launches new service

In response to customer requests, Isle of Man Post Office vehicle licensing now offers its customers assistance in getting new vehicle number plates produced. The newly launched service which has been rolled out across the Post Office network saves customers time and inconvenience by allowing them to order plates from any Post Office across the network, which will then be delivered to any Isle of Man address.

Prices for a full set of plates with adhesive pads and delivery start from £24.50 for non-Manx logo plates and £26.50 for Manx logo plates. Aside from standard size, oblong plates and square shaped plates are also available. Once ordered, the plates will then be delivered within approximately two days to the specified address.

To order their number plates, customers can simply download an application form online, complete it and take it to any Post Office branch along with payment where their application will be processed. Application forms are also available from any Post Office.

Stephen Webster, Licensing Manager said: "After listening to our customers we are pleased to be able to offer a new service through the Post Office counters in relation to the purchasing of vehicle number plates. We are using a local supplier to bring about this initiative and can supply the plates delivered to our customers doors along with a simple DIY fitting kit. The Post Office is always looking to supply services we believe will be of benefit to our customers and to provide them with more convenience which is what this new number plate service does."
