Isle of Man Post Office Will be Closed to Mark the State Funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Lord of Mann

Isle of Man Post Office wishes to express its sincere condolences on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Since its inception in 1973, Isle of Man Post Office has been privileged to have had all of its stamp issues approved by Her Majesty, with each and every stamp produced either including the Queen’s head or her royal cypher EIIR. Many stamp issues during this time have featured Her Majesty, the latest celebrating the Platinum Jubilee earlier this year.

Following the announcement by Isle of Man Government that Monday 19th September 2022 will be a bank holiday to mark the State Funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Our Lord of Mann, Isle of Man Post Office will be closed.

There will be no deliveries or collection of mail on this date. Any letters or parcels due for delivery will be delivered on Tuesday 20th September 2022.

The Social Security division of Treasury has advised that pensions and allowances due for payment on Monday 19th September can be collected on Friday 16th September 2022.
