Lieutenant Governor Adam Wood takes the Isle of Man Postal Headquarters tour

In each of the areas His Excellency met with key department representatives with whom he learnt about the business. The visit provided the Post Office with the opportunity to inform him of the Isle of Man Post Office, the challenges it currently faces and how the business is changing and evolving.

Following breakfast with Post Office personnel and Chairman Graham Cregeen MHK His Excellency received a short presentation from Maxine Cannon, Stamps and Coins General Manager about its stamp issues after which he was then presented with a framed set of Jeremy Paul 'Big Cats' stamps by Post Office Chairman Graham Cregeen MHK and Chief Executive Mike Kelly.

Lieutenant Governor, Adam Wood said "I was impressed by the wide range of services provided by such a small, close-knit workforce and by their drive and enthusiasm."

Graham Cregeen MHK, Chairman of the Isle of Man Post Office said: "We very much enjoyed welcoming the Lieutenant Governor to our Postal Headquarters. It was a delight to meet with him and a pleasure to have him shown around the business by our staff. We were also proud to present him with a framed set of our Jeremy Paul stamps as a memento of his visit."
