Parcel Collections for the South to temporarily return to Southern Delivery Office in Ronaldsway Industrial Estate as of January 2021

Isle of Man Post Office (IOMPO) wishes to advise its customers in the south of the island that starting on Monday January 4th 2021, the Southern Delivery Office in Ronaldsway Industrial Estate will temporarily return to provide customers with a parcel collection facility. This follows the decision of the current provider in Castletown - S&S Motors not to renew their contract.

As of 4th January 2021 Southern Delivery Office will be open for collections Monday to Friday 07:30 to 14:30 hrs and Saturday 10:00 to 13:00 hrs.

Alternative parcel collection sites are also available in Ballasalla, Port St Mary and Port Erin for customers in the south of the Island.

In a current procurement exercise IOMPO is looking for suitable partners Island-wide to provide a parcel collection facility on its behalf to further increase the options available to customers of where they can collect their parcels. The expressions of interest is available to view at www.iompost.com/procurement and the Isle of Man Government’s procurement website www.gov.im/categories/business-and-industries/expressions-of-interest/ .

Geoff Rickard, General Manager leading the Mails divisional strategy for the IOMPO, said: “We have seen huge growth in our parcel volumes this year and are keen to work with as many partners as possible to provide a parcel collection site for our customers. We are looking for applicants Island-wide but in particular for Castletown and surrounding areas. The new service provider would be willing to offer an excellent collection service for those of our customers who weren’t in when we tried to deliver their parcel.”

Mr Rickard added. “We wish to thank our outgoing provider, S&S Motors, who have provided an excellent service for us.”
