Post Office Announce its 2020 August Bank Holiday Operations


With the August Bank Holiday weekend quickly approaching, Isle of Man Post Office (IOMPO) would like to advise its customers of changes to operations and opening times over this period.

The operational changes will be as follows:

Date Mail Services Retail Network Notice Left Collection Sites MiCard Collection
Friday 28th August

Parcels and priority mail such as Special Deliveries only.

 

No evening collections or dispatches.

All sub post offices across the network will be closed with the exception of Laxey and Peel which will be open from 9am – 1pm.

 

Customer Services Suite at Post Office Headquarters and Northern Delivery Office will be closed. 

S&S Motors:

7am - 9pm

Calverts, PSM:

7:30am - 12:30pm

Spar, Ballasalla: 8am - 8pm

Allowances due for payment on Friday 28th and Monday 31st can be collected on Thursday 27th August.
Saturday 29th August No mail deliveries or collections.

Douglas, Ramsey, Anagh Coar, Ballaugh, Castletown, Governors Hill, Jurby, Port Erin, Port St Mary, Royal Avenue, Union Mills, Willaston.

Above are all open normal hours.

All others are closed.

Mail deliveries and Post Office opening hours will revert back to normal service on Tuesday 1st September.

IOMPO’s self-service postal kiosks located across the Island are also available for the purchase of postage, posting letters and parcels, paying utility bills and Isle of Man Government rents and rates.

MiCard Allowances due for payment on Friday 28th and Monday 31st can be collected on Thursday 27th August.
