Post Office appoints Tender and Contracts Manager


Isle of Man Post Office is delighted to announce the appointment of Linda Dunwell to the position of Tender and Contracts Manager, within the Commercial Team. Linda's appointment comes as part of the Isle of Man Post Office's business development strategy to increase revenues via tendering opportunities and its business presence with customers on the Island and in the UK.

Linda brings the business a range of commercial and technical skills, gained from experience in government, criminal justice and private sector organisations.

Linda moved to the Isle of Man in 2002 to be closer to her family.  Having gained a significant amount of experience in both the public and private sector, Linda moved to the Isle of Man Government in 2008 where she managed £multi-million contracts, delivered procurements, co-ordinated business plans and provided governance over IT projects. From 2012, as a Senior Procurement Officer, Linda carried out tenders involving the acquisition of complex IT systems, various consultancy projects and outsourcing of services.

Linda began her career in the IT industry writing custom software for businesses, before joining West Yorkshire Police, as a member of the Police Support staff.  She spent the next 18 years in various technical roles ranging from operations, software development and business analysis through to IT Project and Programme Management before moving to the Isle of Man.
