Post Office Will Continue to Put Customer and Employee Safety First

Isle of Man Post Office (IOMPO) welcomes the relaxation of a number of Covid19 measures in place across the Island, including the removal of social distancing, from Monday (15th June). However, it wishes to assure that the safety of its customers and people will remain its top priority.

At the beginning of the pandemic on the Island, IOMPO implemented a number of preventative measures and changes to its operation, to ensure it followed Public Health and Government guidelines on preventing the spread of infection. With this latest news, IOMPO will be liaising with its people, unions and business partners on plans to gradually relax the preventative measures in a safe and responsible way, aligned to further guidance expected next week, and will advise customers of any changes in due course.
