Postal Staff Will Deliver Mother’s Day Cheer this Weekend

This weekend Isle of Man Post Office staff will deliver a significant number of flowers to mums across the Island to mark Mothering Sunday.

Each year Isle of Man Post Office teams up with Signature by Robinson’s and Post-a-Rose to deliver flower bouquets for Mothering Sunday. Over the course of tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday, a number of postal staff will be out delivering across the Island to put a smile on many faces, despite the unprecedented situation the Island faces in light of Covid-19.

For all its doorstep deliveries, IOMPO has put measures in place to protect the health of both its people and customers, while continuing to provide the best delivery service possible. Guidance to all IOMPO employees to practice good hygiene and thorough hand washing is very much in force. The business is keeping its ways of working under review and has contingency plans in place for various scenarios.

Simon Kneen, Chief Executive of IOMPO, said: “We are always keen to team up with local businesses to assist with the delivery aspect of their products and services and this weekend will be no exception. While there is worry among Island residents during the threat of Covid-19, we hope the flowers will create a welcome smile to the recipients.”
