Post Office Discusses Future of Postal Services in Port St Mary at Stakeholders’ Meeting

In light of the sub postmaster of Port St Mary Post Office giving notice on his contract for service, Isle of Man Post Office (IOMPO) has held a meeting with key stakeholders that represent service users to discuss future postal services in the village, when the notice period ends on 31st January 2021.

This year’s Isle of Man Post Office Christmas stamps, issued on 30 October, feature scenes and artworks inspired by the story of the Nativity.

Isle of Man Post Office Enhances Collection Service to Improve Customer Convenience

Isle of Man Post Office (IOMPO) launched a new enhancement to their Collection service. Customers who receive a notice left card at their homes can log onto IOMPO’s website www.iompost.com/redelivery and choose a convenient location from one of nine Island-wide sites to collect items from and will now receive an SMS/text notification to advise when their item(s) are ready to collect.

Charles Dickens Celebrated With a Commemorative Stamp Set by the Isle of Man Post Office

This year marks the 150th anniversary of the death of Charles Dickens, one of the world’s most famous and loved writers. To celebrate, the Isle of Man Post Office working closely with the Charles Dickens Museum, London, will publish on the 14th October 2020, a set of six carefully curated stamps featuring five engravings from his most famous book A Christmas Carol and a miniature portrait of the author from the same period as the book was written.

Isle of Man Stamps & Coins to Attend First Virtual Stamp Exhibition

Hosted by the Philatelic Trading Society, Virtual Stampex is a free event taking place from 1st - 3rd October 2020.
The exhibition is open 24 hours a day over the course of three days so visitors are able to browse collections, listen to Stampex talks and take
advantage of the special offers and promotions being offered by ourselves along with many other exhibitors at their leisure.
