Sponsorship at Douglas Rugby Club

Isle of Man Post Office has agreed to promote its foreign currency service at the ground of Douglas Rugby Club for the season which runs from now until May.

The Isle of Man Post Office Sponsorship Committee was approached by the Club offering the opportunity to sponsor one of its marketing boards which are placed around the pitch.

Lucy Webster-Thompson, Chairman of Isle of Man Post Office's Sponsorship Committee said: "We were delighted to support Douglas Rugby Club and take up this opportunity which will promote our 0% commission foreign currency service to both home and away players. We offer our foreign currency service Island-wide with next-day delivery available in all post offices with the exception that instant Euros and dollars are available at Regent Street and Ramsey post offices. The promotion at the rugby ground will be valuable I'm sure. The Sponsorship Committee aims to support a variety of local initiatives throughout the year and we are always keen to hear from individuals and organisations looking for support which we may be able to help with."

Mark Shortland, 2nd Team Captain for Douglas Rugby Club said: "We are grateful to the Isle of Man Post Office for being one of our sponsors this season and look forward to the club having another successful season both on and off the pitch."
