This collection focuses on road vehicles and is a tribute to the selflessly-dedicated enthusiasts who restore and preserve an extraordinary assortment of machines for the Manx public and visitors to enjoy. The issue date – 28th July 2021, coincides with Heritage Transport Week which takes place from 28th July till 1st August 2021.

Local designer Mark Redhead of Kllbr8 created the 6 stamps with images provided by each of the six Museums on Island: The Manx Transport Heritage Museum Peel, The Jurby Transport Museum, The Murray’s Motorcycle Museum Santon, The A.R.E. Collection Kirk Michael, The Millntown Collection Ramsey and the Isle of Man Motor Museum Jurby.

Mark Redhead, Founder & Designer Kllbr8 Limited said: “I am very pleased to have designed my first set of stamps for the Isle of Man Post Office and hope the collectors will enjoy them. It was a great experience and I am proud to have helped showcase the work of so many keen, dedicated people who provide us all with the opportunity to appreciate so many wonderful and diverse machines here on the Island.”

Maxine Cannon, General Manager Isle of Man Stamps & Coins, said: “All of these fabulous Museums present an Aladdin’s cave of historic transport memorabilia to enthusiasts on Island and all over the world. They are a credit to our Island and we would like to thank each and every one of them for their support and participation in this great stamp issue.”
