Much like the rest of the UK the decline of the high street has hit the Isle of Man hard and its young and affluent work force are looking for more choice from online stores. This coupled with covid-19 lockdowns and border restrictions limiting access to retail has driven a shift to online shopping which has been reflected in a significant increase in the volume of parcels Isle of Man Post Office has delivered over the past 15 months.

Not only can we confidently integrate with your tracking system, we also have the ability to keep customers informed regarding the status of their delivery. All delivery staff have either PDAs or mobiles to capture signatures and/or tracking information in real time which is then communicated to our central delivery management system ensuring the customer receives a great experience.

Adaptability

During the Covid-19 lockdowns we were able to adapt our working practices to ensure maximum safety for our staff and customers.  All staff were provided with personal protective equipment and the work spaces were adjusted to allow social distancing. We also offered contactless delivery for all customers, signing for items on the customer’s behalf when required.

The mails operation is supported by an experienced and knowledgeable customer service team to deal with customer queries meaning our delivery staff can get on with the job at hand.
