To celebrate our Greetings in Manx Stamps we recently visited the Bunscoill Ghaelgagh in St Johns together with ITV Granada Reports. We had the chance to observe a full geography lecture, held in Manx Gaelic, and to interview teacher Adrian Caine and some of the children for ITV Granada Report.

ST JOHNS POST OFFICE TO REMAIN OPEN UNTIL THE END OF THE YEAR

Following the announcement in May that the sub postmaster of St Johns Post Office was to step down on the 7th August, seeing an end to postal services in the village, Isle of Man Post Office (IOMPO) is pleased to advise customers that the closure period has been extended to 30th December 2019.

MiCard replacement programme to begin this month

A scheduled campaign to replace MiCards, which enable people to claim their benefits or pension at branches of the Isle of Man Post Office, will begin this month.

SUB POSTMASTER SET TO STEP DOWN AT ST JOHNS

Isle of Man Post Office (IOMPO) wishes to advise customers that the post office counter situated in St Johns Post Office on Station Road will cease on 7th August 2019. Sub postmaster Rob Knighton has tendered his resignation to run the Post Office.
