Counter at Isle of Man Postal Headquarters to Change Hours in the New Year

Isle of Man Post Office (IOMPO) wishes to advise its customers that starting on 6th January, the counter at Postal Headquarters in Douglas, Braddan, is changing its opening hours. The counter will now be open Monday to Friday 08:00 – 19:00 and Saturday 09:00 – 12:30.

IOMPO has undertaken a review of its opening hours and when customers are choosing to use the counter. The new opening hours are reflective of this allowing the counter to be staffed appropriately, particularly at busy times such as lunch times. The opening hours continue to provide convenience for customers who may need to use a Post Office weekdays before 9am and after 5pm or on a Saturday if they are busy during the working week.

There will be no change to the services provided at this counter, which include all postal services, Redirection and KeepSafe applications, MiCard and bill payments as well as Foreign Currency. There is also a self-serve kiosk available at the counter should people wish to use if the queue is long.

Additionally, we would also like to remind customers they can use our newly enhanced redelivery service which allows customers to log on to IOMPO’s website and choose a convenient location from a selection of Island-wide sites e.g. POHQ to collect items from, after receiving a Notice Left card.

-Ends-
