Statement from Isle of Man Post Office Wednesday 22nd January 2020 at 16:20hrs


Isle of Man Post Office (IOMPO) wishes to issue a further update to its customers and suppliers regarding the incident at Postal Headquarters, which remains ongoing.

 

Simon Kneen, Chief Executive of IOMPO, said: “Our contingency plans have been fully enacted and are working well. Our whole team is working hard to minimise any disruption to customers during this situation, which is out of our control. I am grateful to our staff who have shown great flexibility, professionalism and team work during this difficult situation.”

 

He continued: “IOMPO expects to receive airmail as normal tomorrow morning (Thursday), and we will aim to deliver the best possible service to our customers within the limitations imposed, and the advice supplied to us by the Isle of Man Constabulary.”

 

IOMPO wishes to apologise to customers for any inconvenience caused, and to advise that further updates will be available via its website www.iompost.com and on its social media pages on Facebook and Twitter as and when they are available. It thanks customers for their patience at this time.
