Details of changes to all postal services.


The Covid - 19 Coronavirus is impacting the local, UK and international delivery networks, but Isle of Man Post Office is committed to continuing to provide the best possible service to our customers by ensuring we deliver, collect and dispatch mail and parcels in as timely a fashion as we can. However,  there are some changes which are listed below:

Due to new operating times of Ronaldsway Airport the mail plane will not be able to land on Saturdays, however mail continues to come in to the Island on Tuesday to Friday mornings and is dispatched each weekday evening.

Royal Mail have announced that there are significant delays in delivering items to a number of countries right now due to a lack of available transport links and suspension of certain country’s postal operations. They strongly advise not to send items to these destinations which are listed as ‘On suspension’ on their website. For a full list of these countries please use this link.

There is also disruption to the Parcelforce network. Information relating to this can be found here.

Royal Mail and Parcelforce have suspended the timed guarantee on all of their services - this applies to customers sending items to the UK, the Channel Islands and internationally. Both Royal Mail and Parcelforce are working with airlines and their postal/courier partners across the globe to maintain service. Deliveries in the UK will continue to take place on the day they are due but due to operational issues regarding Covid-19, the guaranteed time of delivery has been suspended.
